Satsanga Bhavan (SBG)
Sanatana Dharma, the eternal spiritual tradition of Bharat, has always regarded the temple not merely as a place of worship, but as a living center of devotion, learning, music, discourse, culture, and community harmony.
In the Sanatana tradition, the path to liberation is supported by Navavidha Bhakti—the nine sacred modes of devotion through which devotees cultivate their relationship with the Divine.
Navavidha Bhakti
As explained by Prahlada in Srimad Bhagavatam
1. Shravanam
Listening with devotion to the divine stories, names, glories, and sacred narratives of the Lord.
2. Keertanam
Singing or chanting the names, virtues, and greatness of the Divine.
3. Smaranam
Constant remembrance of the Lord's name, form, and presence in the heart.
4. Pada Sevanam
Serving and worshipping the holy feet of the Lord.
5. Archanam
Offering worship, puja, and abhishekam to the Lord with devotion.
6. Vandanam
Bowing down and offering heartfelt salutations to the Divine.
7. Dasyam
Serving the Lord with the feeling of being His humble servant.
8. Sakhyam
Relating to the Lord with the intimacy and affection of divine friendship.
9. Atma Nivedanam
Offering one's body, mind, soul, and entire being to the Lord in complete surrender.
Spiritual Luminaries & Stage
To support and nurture these devotional practices, the Satsangam hall includes a small stage upon which the image of Sri Nataraja Swamy is placed.
Portraits of the great Acharyas of the three Vedantic traditions—Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Sri Ramanujacharya, and Jagadguru Sri Madhwacharya—as well as saint-composers like Sri Annamacharya, Sri Tyagaraja Swamy, Sri Bhakta Ramadasu, and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, are displayed to serve as a continuous source of spiritual inspiration.
Cultural & Musical Heritage
The Satsangam hall stands as a focal point for community bhajan sessions, classical music gatherings, discourses, and spiritual education for residents of all ages.
Wall of Gratitude
A "Wall of Gratitude" recognizes donors for their generosity. As part of this sacred temple development initiative, a permanent Donor Wall carrying the details of all devotees and contributors who participate in this divine service will be installed within the Satsangam hall.
